Island Harvest Emergency Response to COVID 19

They need us. We need you.

Island Harvest anticipates that the need for food support will grow as the effects of the pandemic continue to reverberate across Long Island. In order to meet the increasing demand for assistance now, and to respond to the long-term effects on hunger beyond the pandemic, we are continuing our Emergency Response Appeal, with an immediate goal of $1,500,000.

Now, more than ever, hungry seniors, veterans, families and those recently unemployed are turning to Island Harvest for help. Since the outbreak began, we have reached across Long Island to help put food on the table of our most vulnerable neighbors. We have distributed more than 2 million pounds of food, and will soon have provided almost 3 million meals, to people in need. With your support we will make sure no one in need goes hungry.

A donation of $25 will help us to provide a family meal kit, support and services to help those who are depending upon us.

Your contribution will help us to continue to get food to people sorely in need, and we thank you in advance for your caring and generosity. Please make your gift now!
